The Friction
Entellus is an Australian B2B technology consultancy. When the engagement began, the firm possessed world-class expertise but its digital infrastructure was failing to capture high-intent B2B search volume. The website was slow to load, its HTML carried no structured data, and its pages were effectively invisible to both traditional search engines and the emerging generative AI platforms that decision-makers increasingly consult.
The commercial cost was specific. Prospects searching for the consultancy's highest-value services were finding competitors instead, and the queries Entellus did rank for were informational rather than commercial. A firm that won work reliably through referrals had no equivalent engine for winning work through search.
The Architecture
We rebuilt the Entellus web presence from the ground up rather than patching the existing site. The rebuild deployed a technical SEO foundation first: the HTML DOM was restructured so that every page presents a clean heading hierarchy, explicit JSON-LD schema markup was injected to describe the organisation and its services in machine-readable form, and server response times were optimised until pages loaded in 0.8 seconds.
On top of that foundation we mapped a content architecture targeting the commercial queries that actually precede a consulting engagement. Design and conversion work ran in the same pass, so the pages that earned the traffic were also equipped to convert it. The full protocol set is described on our services page.
The Result
Within the first six months Entellus recorded a 312% increase in organic search visibility. The site now holds top-3 Google positions for 18 of its highest-value commercial keywords, and the organic channel generates 45 qualified leads per month: enquiries from decision-makers searching with commercial intent, not casual traffic.
The structural work also future-proofed the firm for AI-mediated search: the same schema and entity architecture that satisfies Google's crawlers gives large language models an unambiguous, citable description of who Entellus is and what it does.
The engagement is ongoing. Because the measurement baseline was recorded before the rebuild, every subsequent gain in rankings, leads and load speed is attributable to specific work rather than to market noise: the standard we apply to every engagement in our case-study library.
The Method, Documented
The techniques used here are published openly in our Lab Notes. The schema and entity work follows the approach in Semantic Schema Mapping, and the machine-readability principles are set out in Crawlers vs LLMs. To see where your own site stands against the same checklist, start with a free Visibility Audit.
