The Friction

JS Security installs commercial security systems: a high-trust industry where buyers research carefully before they commit. The company had the real-world reputation, but its digital presence did not reflect its competence. The website was dated, slow, and carried none of the trust signals a procurement manager looks for.

The channel mix made the problem expensive. JS Security was relying heavily on paid advertising to stay visible while conceding organic traffic to established legacy players, which meant paying repeatedly for clicks that a sound organic foundation would have earned permanently. The organic enquiries that did arrive skewed toward low-value residential work rather than the commercial contracts the business is built for.

The Architecture

We deployed a dual-pronged package: a full web design overhaul and an SEO foundations build, executed together. The site was redesigned to establish trust on first contact and engineered to load in 0.6 seconds. Beneath the design, we restructured the markup, added organisation and service schema, and rebuilt the page architecture around a deep content silo targeting specific commercial security queries.

Keyword selection was deliberately exclusionary. Rather than chasing volume, the silo targeted the terms decision-makers use when scoping commercial installations, and deliberately avoided the residential terms that generate low-ticket enquiries. The approach follows the content-silo methodology described on our services page.

The Result

JS Security recorded a 285% increase in targeted commercial organic traffic, with 15 commercial keywords now holding top-3 positions. The business generated 37 high-ticket B2B contract leads through the organic channel (installations, not residential call-outs), which validated the exclusionary keyword strategy: the total value of the sales pipeline rose considerably faster than its raw enquiry volume did.

Because the leads are commercial, each one carries contract-scale revenue, and the organic channel now competes directly with the paid channel it previously subsidised.

The same measurement discipline applied here as in every engagement: rankings, traffic quality and lead value were baselined before the rebuild began, so the 285% growth figure describes attributable change, not coincidence. The full engagement portfolio is in our case-study library.

The Method, Documented

The silo architecture used here is the same discipline described in our Lab Notes on technical SEO and Semantic Schema Mapping. If your organic enquiries skew low-value while paid carries the pipeline, the free Visibility Audit will show you why.
